PLEASE REMEMBER
Have your students bring all necessary items (instrument, pencil, reeds, valve oil, etc…). Also make sure students have their music preferably with the measures numbered. Please stress to them that they need to be in their seat ready to play BEFORE rehearsal begins! Rehearsal time is limited and we want to hear them play an awesome concert!

OTHER INFORMATION
We will be providing a catered meal again this year with burgers, chicken strips and pulled pork! There is a possibility we will stagger release times for the different bands to help with some of the chaos of having everyone in the Elk City commons. I will let you know how that will all pan out at the meeting if at all possible.

Second, please take some time and review the 3 year medal list. This is our first year providing medals for students. Remember that this year we are ONLY doing 3 year medals for JH (made band 7th, 8th, and 9th grade) and HS (10th, 11th, 12th). If you see any mistakes on this list please let me know ASAP so I can take care of that! Here is a link to the 3 year medal list.

FINALLY
If you don’t want to embarrass yourself in front of Brian Balmages here is a short interview he did on youtube explain how to actually pronounce his last name correctly. I watched it and I’ll stay say it wrong I’m almost certain of it.
