Good Afternoon! 

Sorry for such a late update but we had to work around some different schedules over in Elk City BUT we got it figured out and here is what we have! Notice I do have a time slot for the water zoo on our schedule. I'm waiting to hear back from management on that one but as soon as I have concrete information I will get that all to you!

PLEASE READ - Shortgrass Auditions this Saturday

We are excited to host you all for Shortgrass Honor Band auditions this Saturday at Tuttle Middle School.

*** After you have read the following please reply to me that you received this email (sboothby@tuttleschools.info)***

1. Most importantly, please let me know if there is someone else from your school who can judge or be a monitor ASAP. We will need everyone on this list (AND MORE) to make auditions go smoothly on Saturday. We will have a monitors meeting at 8:30 AM in the TMS band room, and then a judges/directors meeting at 9:00 AM following that in the band room.

Shortgrass Members,

Good morning everyone! I just wanted to send out a newsletter to you all about the year's Shortgrass Honor Band. At this time we are preceding with everything as normal with an in-person audition in Elgin on Dec 12th. I know that every district has different rules and regulations they must follow concerning the ongoing pandemic so it may be helpful to get some information from you about your district. Please fill out the attached Google Form and we can make our decision based on what's best for the entire organization (in-person or online auditions)

Water Zoo/Registration

Greetings all!

Just a quick update with the Water Zoo so we get the correct information out to you and your students. We had planned on going back this year after moving the clinic due to weather last year. Sadly, I was informed last week that the Water Zoo will be under construction for the entire month of January. We are looking into other ways we can give back to the students. It's very possible we will do another catered meal similar to last year. If you have any strong opinions on that either way please just let me know.

Shortgrass Registration is now OPEN

Registration is open for Shortgrass Honor Band entries. Please note the following:

1. Audition entries need to be submitted by Friday November 16th.

2. Please make sure to enter your students t-shirt sizes when entering them for auditions.

3. If you know of anyone new to the area please let them know they can contact me and I can get them set up with a login and help them with entering students if they need it!
